Brief
Create a dynamic pop-up shop brand identity blending illustration, animation, and graphic design for the Beany Museum House of Art and Knowledge in Canterbury.
Response
Hullabaloo Creative Market was a student led project in collaboration with the Beaney Museum in Canterbury.
We opened a pop up shop in the museum, selling student work and organising workshops for children to raise funds for our end of year show.
The branding and design team collaborated with the interior architecture course to build display furniture to showcase student work.
To stand out we decided to make the visual identity quite playful and experimental just like creative art students that we all were.
The word Hullabaloo implies a lively and spirited atmosphere, filled with excitement, energy, and joyous celebration. Exaclty what we wanted people to feel when they walked into the pop up shop.
To keep the same positive energy we used really vibrant colours.
The patters we used were to simbolize that same energy that hullabaloo means.
I also assumed the role of the project's photographer, took the pictures for the market's Instagram page and any promotional content.
